    I considered buying the $30 version of this product from the Apple Store. I am glad I did not. This one fits perfectly — at a fraction of the price. Because the cover is clear, I can still use the back-lit keyboard on my Mac in low lighting. The only (minor) downside is that the cover slows down typing a bit, because the rubber surface creates more friction than the bare keys. But this should only be an issue for very fast typists, and you can always easily remove the cover skin if you are doing power typing. I highly recommend this.

    I don’t like the feel of this when I type. It’s a little too thick and the keys feel like they don’t spring back fast enough. If you’re a fast touch typer this is not going to work for you. Also with the added shipping cost, the price/quality does not match.

    The Silicone Keyboard Cover Skin is wonderful. I was in need of a cover to protect the laptop’s keyboard. It arrived in a timely manner as expected. I opened it from its packaging and placed it on the keyboard. No instructions needed. I was very happy the way my fingers felt while typing. It felt like I was typing on soft padded keys. The lighting is able to be seen through the cover and doesn’t strain the eyes, which is a plus. I would recommend this product to anyone in need of the ease while typing, protection and style.

    I have a silicone cover for my Dell XPS so when I got my MacBook I wanted the same thing. There isn’t much out there to choose from and I bought this cover mostly for the price ( 25$ for the Moshi seems outrageous me). I’m glad I did.

    Pros: soft silicone, fits, stays on very well, a little frosted but you can still see the keys well.

    Cons: you have to press the keys a bit harder and I make typos easier because of that. Silicone gathers dust but easily cleaned.

    All in all it’s a great cover for the money and I figured if it doesn’t work out I only spent 9$. I’m happy with it so far.

    After reading the reviews, I still bothered to purchase this item, how disappointing. It is most difficult to type, and left entire keyboard print on the screen (some silicon based material). Not recommended.
