I am puzzled as to how most all the other reviewers got good volume from these speakers. Like E. Jung, I find that the volume is barely better than the built in speakers on my Pavilion Win XP notebook. Disappointing, I thought this was going to solve my notebook volume is too low problem. Waste of money, imho. They are cute, tho.

I wanted a speaker to improve the terribly weak sound of my Laptop. These speakers were barely any louder. It is a pain to watch movie from my laptop with this speaker. However, expect for the poor volume, others were good!

I agree with everything written about these speakers. The spound quallity for the size is great. I use them because the speakers on my Dell went out and replacing the speakers for about $10 sounded better than repairing them for $50+. As for the cords, yes they are a nuisance, but I just wrap them around my lap-top inside the case as I store it and they seem to be slowly lengthening. I highly recommend this product.

These speakers sound great and cheap, that should be reason enough to buy them. However they simply can’t stand upright as they weight practical nothing and the wires are rather rigid and numerous causing the speakers to tip or lean crookedly. The friction pads on the bottom weren’t large simply to keep them in place. I’ve resigned to simply laying them on their sides. Still it’s a great product and very portability.

The sound is so much better than the speakers that came with the computer. Great purchase. should’ve gotten long before we installed skype
