    First, it came shipped encased in carbonite. Seriously, you cannot open this with scissors alone, you need specialized cutting tools.

    Second, IT DIDN’T WORK. Yes, it was dead on arrival. I can’t comment on a working version of this product, it might be nice, but by buying this you are definitely gambling your money. It might not work at all.

    We ordered three of these for use in our office. Turns out they are not compatible with Macintosh computers, because Macs lack a microphone input jack (the line-in jack does not amplify the signal enough). For a while I was fooled into thinking they were working, but I realized that Skype was just using the Mac’s built-in mic instead. (forehead slap)

    Incompatibility with Mac would have been nice to know before buying, Amazon. [...] Although to be fair it’s not just this model, apparently USB headsets are the only kind that will work on a Mac.

    Otherwise, the ergonomics seem fine for this price range. Audio quality through headphones seems quite good, inline headphone volume and microphone sensitivity/mute settings is nice (with shirt clip). Wish we could keep them.

    i was concerned about getting a headset to use for voip that wasnt too expensive but would provide good quality and this fit the bill perfectly. in my experience plantronics makes good quality dependable headsets and im glad i went with this one here.

    Another FINE Plantronics product. The 326 headset is excellent quality and very comfortable to wear. I have worked in a call center enviorment for more than 15 years and Plantronics products are without a doubt the best products for home or office use. I currently own 2 Plantronics headsets (the 326 and the M214C) and both are outstanding headsets.

    Does come with 1 year limited warranty.

    For the person that bought the “dead headset”…I’m sure you could have exchanged/returned the “defective” headset to where you made the purchase. Or, perhaps you could have contacted Plantronics directly. Their number is right on the on the original packaging of your purchased product which is: (800) 544-4660). Since the item would have been considered still under warranty, I’m sure they would have been happy to help resolve your issue.

    This Plantronics headphone and microphone is not only comfortable to wear, but the sound quality from the headphones are amazing! I was also told that the microphone is so clear that I sound as if I am right in the room.

    Can’t beat that type of quality!
